1. Twin shaft mixer
The mixing principle and process of the twin-shaft mixer ensure that most of the mixed concrete is deposited between the two agitating shafts, so that the wear between the agitating arms and the blades and the bottom lining is reduced. Practice has proved that only 25% of the blades in the non-main mixing zone have wear phenomenon, only slight wear or even wear in the main mixing zone, and the double-shaft mixer liner can be selected from ordinary steel plates or wear-resistant cast iron according to operating conditions.
2. Single horizontal shaft mixer
Due to the higher peripheral speed of the agitating blades and the rotational trajectory of the blades, the wear of the single-shaft mixer is greater than that of the twin-shaft mixer. Therefore, the maintenance cost is increased by using expensive special steel.
